I dont do pay su subscriptions, but if I did, your channel would be one of the few I would buy. I don't use much UA-cam info for anything, it's just entertainment, and I dont have the budget to go down the pay road.... One thought on stripped bolt holes: if you still have space to disassemble the component in the future, consider loctiting in a stud (or even good all thread. That way you arent "using" the damaged threads anymore. Ive had good luck with this method. Hope it helps. I try to "pay" for my entertainment by giving back from my own experience when possible.

Thanks.. this is exactly the info I needed. next week I will find out if I own a cat excavator 225d and a track loader 941b. both with 3304 engine. There is a fault in the excavator's engine. the oils and radiator fluids mixed up and it's stuck

Hi Warren, it was explained to me, when you have two materials interfacing, the softer one will wear out the harder one. Something to do with the softer one getting impregnated with stray material and like sandpaper wearing out the harder one. I’ve seen corrugated split tubing wear through aluminium fuel tanks. Another Great Video, Warren. My dad always gives me a hard time when I use my Leatherman. He says you have 50K in tools and using a Leatherman. I just seen you use it and thought about that. It’s amazing how big the injection pump is compared to a Bosch or Stanadyne. I don’t think most would last as long as that old Cat Pump. Pretty neat old Skidder, I wonder how many Hours it actually has on it. Thanks a bunch for the Videos.

I wonder if it’s been parked up for a while. With what the customer is describing, if the valve stem seals are on the way out, oil will leak down into the intake/exhaust and they smoke like crazy for a while till oil the oil is burnt off. And with the exhaust leaks the smoke will make it look like the engine is on fire.

This machine is from the 1980s looks to be in nice shape. Those float tanks will get you every time. Retired after 31 years working for a komatsu dealer.

I've got an old JS6 with t he same pump and flange injectors and it coasts to a stop (basically burning what fuel is left in the injector after the pump is put in no fuel) and has a little fuel knock when it starts. I'd say that 220 is fine, time for the dozer to go push fire roads in.
